| BARNEYA very hansome boy.
Barney is a very handsome Trailhound boy aged around ten years. Trailhounds originate in Cumbria where they are trained to run across country for a distance of about ten miles competing against each in a test of speed and stamina. Barney’s mum came to PACT from Cumbria when she was expecting a litter of pups, Barney and his brothers and sisters all found good homes as soon as they were weaned, but Barney has recently had to be returned to the Sanctuary.
Trailhounds usually have excellent temperaments with people and other animals but are not very good at recall. Barney is generally very affectionate and has been very well behaved at the Sanctuary, but with his foster owners did behave like a spoilt brat and could be temperamental. In the right home we are sure that he will revert to type and be a good boy. If you think you could offer a home to Barney please contact the PACT Animal Sanctuary in the first instance on 01362 820775 or email us| Donations and Sponsorships | |
