Delightful girl who loves human contact
HOLLY, a small crossbreed is four years old. Poor Holly was found cold and frightened on the streets of Romania having recently given birth to a litter of puppies who had sadly frozen to death in the bitter winter.
When we originally agreed to help Holly she had already found a really good home here in Norfolk and so we were to be a backup rescue should her carers need any help, but sadly her prospective new owner had an accident and so Holly had to come to live at the Sanctuary, and once again this affectionate little dog is looking for her special person.
She is a delightful girl who loves human contact and has settled in well here. As a Romanian she will need a very secure garden (minimum 6’ fencing) as being an ex-street dog she is used to fending for herself and may try to escape if something frightens her. As she was fostered by a kind lady in Romania for a while she is already clean in the house but may need some further toilet training. Holly walks well on the lead and is good with other dogs, she seems to ignore cats but would need more testing if she is to be re homed with a cat. She would be best suited to a home with children over 8 years of age.
If you think you could offer Holly a home please contact the sanctuary in the first instance on 01362 820775 or email us.
