JED

It takes time to know me .....but i am worth it.

Jed is a very handsome short coated Lurcher boy. Originally bought at a Norfolk horse sale his new owner took him home where he had to live with a large Rottweiler and eight children. Jed turned out to be rather snappy towards the children, very scared of strangers, and disliked being touched around his neck. Possibly he had been chained up and ill-treated.

He has lived at the Sanctuary for six years now, and although he is still somewhat wary of strangers, he is a much happier dog. Jed is nearly seven years old, neutered and fully vaccinated, he really needs a quiet home where he does not have to be in contact with children or cats. Once bonded with his humans Jed is affectionate and gentle but for his safety would need to be muzzled when out being walked.
