| Essential information Climbing Kilimanjaro is an extremely challenging event and will require a good level of fitness, strength and endurance. You should check with your doctor to ensure you are well and fit enough to participate in this event. You should also check with you doctor if you are to start a fitness training plan to ensure you are not pushing your body too hard and that your current fitness level can handle your potential plan. We also advise that you seek advice on the training plan you will need. The fitter (both physically and mentally) you are the better chance you have of success. You should also take into account that the medical and other facilities where we are travelling to in Tanzania will be inferior to that of the UK. Some parts of the trip we will be away from the main cities and hospitals.
