Brilliant news Little Un had a clear scan and vet is sure that it was a kidney stone which has now passed through. He remains on parasite medications and will need urinary food going forward to ensure his kidneys stay healthy. He has sustained some sight loss but we are sure he will lead a full life.
Thank you to everyone that gave to help him get to this stage. His foster mum has fought so hard to get him through this having many sleepless nights so a thank you to her is also appropriate.
Appeal to help us cover the costs for a very sick little kitten.
PACT’s on call team went out to 4 kittens stuck between a fence and a shed in the middle of the night. One of the kittens was Little Un, 10 days old, cold and weak with eye infections and covered in fleas. He is half the size of his siblings (who are now healthy).
He is battling to overcome eye infections, dehydration and diarrhoea. Little Un continues to have problems and the vets are thinking he may have a shunt or kidney problems and we are currently waiting for test results to confirm a diagnosis and treatment plan, but the bill from the vets is already over £600.
Between bouts of illness this little kitten plays with his siblings and loves being cuddled. Why does PACT go so far for one little soul, because his little life is important and we are giving him every chance to survive.
