Bella is  beautiful Podenco x female, who was born 17/08/21.

Bella is like a typical puppy, she is fun of energy, always wanting to play or have cuddles, she can occasionally play nip.

Bella walks well on the lead, and responds well to gentle training commands. Bella does need consistent basic training to be continued in the home. And would 100% benefit from dog training classes

Bella cannot be rehomed with cats, and is good with dogs big and small. Bella needs a home with children 12 plus.

Bella will need to be watched for a season, as we cannot see a spay scar, and brought back in for neutering.

Bella currently has Luxating Patella in her right hind leg, this means her knee cap slips out of place. She is currently awaiting surgery to have this fixed at a specialist veterinary referral hospital on the 14th of June. After this procedure she will need to have strict cage rest and wear a buster collar for a given period of time, this could be a number of weeks.

Surgery is covered by us, and we will go into depth with any potential owners.

Our requirements for rehoming a puppy are as follows:

All members of the household will need to visit your chosen puppy at least 2 times. (3 if you have existing dogs)

You must have a secure private garden (minimum 6’ fencing) attached to your home.

We do not rehome to flats or communal gardens.

You will have to register your puppy into puppy classes and proof of this will be required.

Any existing pets must be neutered and vaccinated, proof of this will also be required.

You must be prepared to take out pet insurance, this is to cover any unforeseen accidents or illnesses in your new pet’s life. The staff will be very happy to discuss this with you.

We ask for a donation of £350 per puppy which includes microchipping, vaccinations, flea and worm treatment whilst in our care, and neutering when they are old enough. (They will need to be returned to the sanctuary to be neutered.)
