Our amazing Lola is looking for a home! Lola came to us in January 2023 after already having been in 3 homes.

Lola's first home used her for breeding and then rehomed her to a couple who tried to help her but couldn’t afford her medical treatment. Then her last home found that one of their children was allergic to Lola and asked for our help.

Lola needs someone who understands brachycephalic (flat faced breed) needs. She is on eye drops twice daily which she takes very well and she needs her face wiped daily. PACT will continue to provide these and any help/advice needed.

Lola had multiple operations with us (read more here) to improve her quality of life making it easier for her to breathe and leaving her with fewer pockets of skin to hide yeast infections.

Lola has strong urges to hold and chew her toys and lead and we are working on this with advice from a behaviourist - this is a very manageable issue, and we can walk any interested adopter through the training process. We do believe that sadly a lot of this behaviour is antagonised by our kennel environment.

Lola has great recall off the lead and is very responsive to training with treats. She is a very affectionate dog and loves to be with you and demand cuddles.

Lola socialises well with other dogs and loves to play, she did previously live with another dog before coming to us so she could again following successful dog meets at the sanctuary.

Lola would be great in most homes. Any new owner would need to understand her health problems and behavioural needs but we believe she’ll make a fantastic companion.

She has been available for rehoming for months but has had no interest at all.
