Pretty Penny came into our care in October after her owner was unable to afford veterinary treatment.
Penny came to us with a rear leg deformity that needed urgent veterinary care. Unfortunately, the only option for Penny was amputation, and as such Penny now has 3 legs. Penny has recovered well from her surgery and is now ready to find a new home.
Being 3 legged has not affected Penny in the slightest, she copes very well but it does mean she will need to be rehomed as an indoor-only cat or to a home that has a catio or an enclosed secure garden that she would not be able to escape from.
Penny is an extremely loving and affectionate cat, she enjoys spending time with her carers here at the sanctuary and will happily allow them to pick her up and give her a cuddle. She will make a great companion to anyone in search of a new furry friend.
She could be rehomed with children of any age as long as they are respectful of the fact that she has 3 legs and could live with another cat/s and a calm cat-friendly dog/s.
Thank you for being interested in giving one of our cats a loving home.
