Ziggy having cuddles with his foster brothers.

Ziggy is an energetic 6 month old chihuahua cross puppy.

He’s a typical puppy with bundles of energy and lots of love to give.

Ziggy is currently in a foster home with a member of our kennels team and is happily living with 2 other dogs and a cat.

Ziggy has shown himself to be impeccably well behaved in the home; he’s house trained, not destructive and loves nothing more than cuddling up to his foster brothers for a nap.

He also travels well in the car. He’s very affectionate and will take any chance to crawl into your lap for a fuss. He has had some basic training, knows some commands and is a very gentle boy. He does walk on a lead, although he could benefit from some further lead training.

Ziggy suffers from separation anxiety so would need someone with him the majority of the time to begin with.

Any prospective owner would need to be patient and understanding, building up the period of time Ziggy is left alone until he is fully comfortable with being left. Another resident dog would definitely help Ziggy with this transition - he absolutely loves the company of other dogs!

We’re sure with the time and patience of his new owner Ziggy will be the perfect little lap dog!
